… to our “World Jewellery History” course, held October 2018 at Nunavut Arctic College with First-Year students in the Fine Arts & Crafts Programme.

Arctic Metal Arts presents the NAC students’ experimentation with enamels, which is a type of coloured and finely ground-up glass that vitrifies to metallic surfaces through intense heat (this is done in a kiln).

“World Jewellery History” was led by Donna Bilak in collaboration with Beata Hejnowicz, Senior Instructor in the Jewellery Department at Nunavut Arctic College.
